Every year, WatchBuys hosts a Road Show in Pasadena so that watch enthusiasts can learn more about the various brands they offer and for a chance to see the timepieces in the flesh. Last month, WatchBuys held a special Road Show event just for the #LAWatchGang. The brands included: Sinn, Hanhart, D. Dornbluth & Sohn, Nomos Glashutte, Jochen Benzinger, Bruno Sohnle Glashutte, Thomas Ninchritz, Junghans, Stefan Kudoke, and a few other German brands.
This was an exciting event for me since it was my first time seeing most of these brands in person. And it is always extra fun to play with watches that you have never seen or even knew existed. Overall, I was quite impressed by the quality of most of these timepieces. Many looked a lot more expensive than their retail price. Some had crazy and odd designs… some were more traditional. Some were definitely for me (Zurich Worldtimer from Nomos Glashutte, 99.2 from Dornbluth & Sohn, Vice Versa II from Thomas Ninchritz, and EZM 13 from Sinn) and some not so much. Without further ado, please enjoy the photos from that evening.

The understated Nomos Glashutte...
My favorite Nomos Glashutte, the Zurich Worldtimer, $6,100. Prefer it in blue though...
And the other German brands...
Benzinger Regulator, $9,940.
Zeitsprung, $7,580.
One that caught my eye, the Thomas Ninchritz Vice Versa II. The movement is beautifully decorate, the case is perfectly sized at 42mm, and the price! Wow... for $5,380 this watch is a bargain in my opinion.
Thomas Ninchritz Vice Versa II, $5,380.
It tells time on both sides of the dial!
Kudoke KudoKtopus, $9,170... interesting, but too much even for me ;-).
The Junghans section...
Junghans Chronoscope, $1,860.
A very clean dial on the D. Dornbluth & Sohn 99.2, $6,460.
