On September 2, I attended the SevenFriday LA Flash Party with a few members of the #LAWatchGang. Had the chance to meet Anish Bhatt (@watchanish), Daniel Niederer (the creator of SevenFriday), and Armen Eskijian (from Beverly Hills Watch Company).
I wore my Rolex GMT-Master II (ref.116718) to the event since I do not own a SevenFriday watch. What better way to start the night but with a wrist shot and all the SevenFriday goodies?
Having seen the P1-1 and P3-1 models before, I was mostly interested in seeing their new collection, the M-Series. Using discs to tell time is not new technology, but it certainly gives the watch that special something, specially at their price points. And in the case of the M-Series, it works beautifully with the rest of the design of the watch.
For those that are unfamiliar with their older P-Series, here are a few that were available at the event: P1-3 (Orange), P1-4 (Blue), P1-5 (Green), P2-1 (Black with Bronze Ring), and the P3-1 (All Black). The colored models are definitely fun and unique, but my favorite P1 model is still the P1-1 in stainless steel (not pictured).
All SevenFriday watches pictured are 47mm.
