On April 26, Ferrari Club of America held their annual Concorso Ferrari event in Pasadena. This year marked their 8th year. With approximately 140 Ferraris (and a few other exotics) at the event, three blocks of busy Colorado Boulevard were closed for this admission free event. I have never seen this many Ferraris together, from vintage to modern models. It was a true spectacle!
I knew about the event from Instagram and had planned to miss it. But as chance would have it, I wanted to go to Pasadena on that Sunday to have lunch and stop by a retail store to buy some pants… totally forgetting that the event was there! So I killed three birds with one shot on that day! Lunch in Pasadena (while staring at Ferraris from our outside seating), check! Buy new pants, check! Drool over Ferraris on my way back to my minivan, check!
Time to enjoy the photos!
The event is held so that Ferrari owners can proudly display their babies and also be considered for certain awards following the FCA National guidelines IAC/PFE (International Advisory Council for the Preservation of Ferrari Automobiles). The irony here? Ferrari owners have to pay a fee to participate in the event while spectators get in for free ;-).
How about this very limited Sergio model? Only 6 made ever...
There were also a few non-Ferrari exotic brands...
Last but not least... the delicious sushi I had for lunch on that day ;-)...
I did not spend that much time at the actual Ferrari event (sorry I was not able to photograph them all) but I must say that it was quite something seeing that many Ferraris on such a famous street. Special thanks to all the owners of these beautiful machines for bringing your babies out for us to enjoy.
